The Edge offers test preparation programs for the SAT, ACT, all SAT II exams, GRE, LSAT, GMAT, SSAT, ISEE, and COOP. Our test preparation programs are built on the philosophy that students will perform best after having a combination of coursework and private or semi-private tutoring. A course will develop a student's knowledge of the fundamental techniques and test-taking strategies and will give him or her an excellent foundation in the quickest and most cost-effective way possible. While some students just need the fundamentals to prepare for their standardized tests, others are looking for a more customized option, which is where our private and semi-private tutoring comes in. Many of our students supplement the course with a couple of tutoring sessions to really hone in on their specific weaknesses in order to best prepare for the test. Other companies either offer only courses or private tutoring or will not allow students to combine the two services; however, The Edge offers students the ability to customize a package that suits their individual needs.
